SENIOR REAL-WORLD DATA ANALYST

in German-speaking Switzerland to take ownership for the following key responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

_Executing RWD analytics solutions to support in successful development and commercialization and market access of diagnostics products

_Maintaining and expanding knowledge of available data sources and its application to the needs of life cycle teams, medical & scientific affairs, biomarker discovery, and market access groups

_Understanding the needs of various stakeholders and offering real-world data analysis to suit their requirements

_Performing high quality, timely analyses using appropriate methodologies, tools and best practices

_Building and maintaining partnerships with other RWD Analysts, RWD Scientists and key stakeholders

_Being responsible for delivery on assigned projects

_Proactively raising ideas and identifying opportunities to enhance ways of working (including processes, methods, technology etc.) and sharing best practices and lessons learned with peers

REQUIREMENTS

_M.S. or advanced degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or related field; PhD preferred

_8+ years of relevant industry experience; 3+ years of experience leading real- world data analysis projects

_Solid programming experience with SAS, R and/or other statistical software packages; experience with Python/Java is a plus

_Strong prior experience using large population level databases (Claims, EMR, Registries)

_In-depth Knowledge of relational database principles and corresponding basic query language skills (e.g. SQL)

_Good knowledge of diagnostics coding schemes, vocabularies and code lists (e.g. CPT codes, ICD9/10, SNOMED)

_Exposure to machine learning and big data analysis methods and platforms

_Experience using big data platforms such as Hadoop (Spark is a plus)

_Experience with business intelligence tools

_Familiarity with regulatory framework and guidelines for pharma/diagnostics products

_Familiarity with pharma/diagnostics market access requirements

_Excellent communication skills; ability to negotiate successfully; strong influencing skills

_Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changes

_Experience in Diagnostic or Pharma Industry preferred
