Regional Sales Manager Switzerland

Summary

For our expansion to the European countries with main focus on Switzerland, we are looking for a sales talent who will assist the company in conquering this market. This is an opportunity to grow with the company and lead its developments to more markets in the coming years.

Mission / Responsibilities
  • Present and position the DEPsys monitoring and control technology for the low-voltage grid to Swiss Distribution System Operators
  • Acquire new customers and develop existing ones; aggressively pursue new customers and generate sales leads
  • Effectively plan future actions on key accounts
  • Build a pipeline of customer opportunities and drive them from lead generation to closing
  • Work with internal resources on technical proposals
  • Customize the proposition to the unique requirements of DSOs with different sizes and profiles
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by reaching challenging targets
  • Help DEPsys becoming a leader in the space of the low-voltage smart grid
  • Liaise with other players of the industry to build collaborations
  • Properly report back by using CRM and other tools
Desired qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in a complex, technical, B2B, solution-oriented business
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Swiss electricity market
  • Proven track-record of sales to departments of DSOs dealing with the low-voltage grid
  • Experience selling in the areas of Smart Grids, Innovation, Smart Metering, Asset Management, or Network Planning, will be considered a plus
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of low-voltage grid issues, challenges and concepts
  • Knowledge of the regulation of the Swiss electricity market

  • A self-motivated individual that can work in a self-managed mode
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • An organized and structured person with the ability to discover pain points, needs and wants of customers to facilitate a focus to the DEPsys value proposition
  • A dynamic person that wants to grow with the company and is able to contribute to its growth
  • German first language or equivalent level, excellent command of English, French is a plus
